As we begin a new year at the Right to Rent Collaborative, I am pleased to share two important updates: the formation of our 2026 Advisory Committee and the official launch of our 2026 Grant Cycle.
Welcoming the 2026 Advisory Committee
Strong governance and independent review are foundational to R2RC’s work. Our Advisory Committee plays a critical role in evaluating grant applications, providing strategic insight, and helping ensure that funding decisions reflect readiness, impact, and long-term capacity building across the short-term rental advocacy ecosystem.
We are grateful to those industry leaders serving on the 2026 R2RC Advisory Committee:

These individuals bring deep experience across advocacy, leadership, and industry operations. Their perspectives strengthen our structured review process and reinforce our commitment to transparent, independent grantmaking. The Advisory Committee members review and score qualified applications and provide funding recommendations to the Board of Directors. Reviewers and Directors are recused from the voting and review process if a potential conflict of interest arises.
The 2026 Grant Cycle is Now Open
We are also excited to announce the opening of the 2026 Grant Cycle for R2RC-Qualified Associations. In 2025, demand for funding exceeded available resources, putting many applications on a waiting list. As 2026 donations continue to roll in, we anticipate awarding up to 25 grants between April and September of this year.
Apply for Funding Now:
- Seed Grants: Up to $5,000 for brand new groups just getting started
- Growth Grants: Up to $10,000 for 501(c)(6) or 501(c)(6)-pending associations to cover early-stage growth costs
- Sustainability Grants: $10,000 to $25,000 for capacity-building needs and general operating expenses
- Special Projects Grants: $5,000 to $20,000 for one-time needs, such as legal fees
Momentum is building – share the news!
Developing a sustainable network of professional industry advocates requires all hands on deck. While our list of 2026 Collaborators is growing steadily, help us crank up the pace!
Forward this to someone you know who may be interested in becoming a:
- Financial contributor to R2RC
- PMS company integrated with the R2RP Giving Program
- Qualified Association
Our contributors, PMS partners, and association members make this work possible. The momentum we are building together reflects a shared commitment to future-proofing the industry for all.
Your participation matters.
Sincerely,
Julie Marks President,
Right to Rent Collaborative
