This board brings a meaningful mix of perspectives across operations, governance, advocacy, technology, and on-the-ground organizing. That diversity is not incidental: it is essential. The challenges facing this industry are complex, and favorable outcomes depend on leadership that reflects different roles, regions, and experiences. I am confident in these individuals’ commitment to strengthening advocacy capacity at the state and local level and look forward to the year’s work ahead.
Rally for The Right to Rent
On April 8, we kicked things into high gear with a Live Industry Rally. This isn’t a typical “policy update” or a lobbying soapbox. It’s a 60-minute frank conversation about what’s really working on the ground right now and how a simple, shared-responsibility model can safeguard our collective right to rent.
We covered:
- What’s changing: The immediate regulatory shifts impacting operators today.
- What’s working: Why statewide coordination is outperforming fragmented efforts.
- The Model: How the $2-per-reservation program creates long-term stability.
This is a movement of property managers, vendors, and community leaders who understand that the future of this industry is being decided now–with or without us. Let’s not miss the chance to shape the future of the industry.

Thank you for taking action!
